Wart removal can be very frustrating. Just when you think the wart is going away you do not finish working on the wart and it grows back.
Warts have a deep seed within them and just because you see the head or top dome of the wart go away does not mean the wart has died or is gone. Warts live under the skin. That is where they start growing before you actually see them. They usually grow under the skin for several months before they emerge the top dermis of skin. If you have been treating the wart with salicylic acid, hydrogen peroxide, or any other treatment continue its treatment until it looks like regular skin only is remaining and there is no round area on your skin.
I have treated my wart with salicylic acid, duct tape, hydrogen peroxide, garlic and not liquid nitrogen therapy at my doctor. I had two treatments a month apart at my doctor and the wart seemed to go away but I did not return for the third treatment as scheduled and now I am four months out from my last treatment and the wart has grown back. This is exhausting. I am ready to have the wart cut out with some minor surgery but with the wart being on my knee cap I think they would need to scoop down to my bone to get rid of this monster wart which now seems to have become resistant to many chemicals and thrives.
The next treatment to try is a yeast injection. This will inject a small amount of yeast directly under the wart in three spots. The idea of this treatment is that I will not be trying to remove the wart but my body will be attacking it because it will be attacking the yeast to remove it and in turn will also kill the wart.
Two treatments and the wart is basically gone but I think I am smarter this time and will not let it win. I am going to have a final treatment and also do a little home treatment on the area to get rid of it from the top side while my body removes it from the back end.
