The Disney mix stick will make for a great first mp3 player for children. This is because it is both sturdy and easy to use. Unfortunately, there is some computer knowledge required in order to make it work. Nevertheless, there is a nice size memory in it, which is expandable. Top all of this off with a chrome Mickey Mouse design and you have a great mp3 player. In fact, it is actually a lot cooler and more grown up than the various character ones that are on the market today. All of this will only cost you $25.
You will also discover that the Disney mix stick is pretty easy to charge and load. All you have to do is plug it into your USB port. This is especially easy if you have a front USB port. However, if you find that you are having difficulty with this, all you have to do is look at the instruction manual, which explains everything fairly well, even though it does assume that you have some computer knowledge. Mainly, you will need to know how to use media player, which is rather easy to figure out. It also has a help feature if you need it.
This Disney Mix Stick comes with 128 MB of built in memory and an eight hour play time per charge. It also includes a breakaway neck strap and ear buds. All of these things are rather sturdy.
There is one neat feature which is the \"mix\" part. Basically, when you hold down the mix it button for a few seconds the mp3 player randomly starts to play the first eight seconds of every song so that when you get to the one you want you can just press the mix button again and the entire song will play.
